About the position
The Technical Sales Engineer is the technical lead on the account team and will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution. This role operates in close collaboration with the Account Executive.
The Technical Sales Engineer also participates in and supports the on-boarding process of new customers.
Performing customer discovery discussions to understand and document the business needs;
Designing requirements necessary for the formulation of optimal solutions;
Documenting and Presenting the solution to the customer, describe its benefits and build customer relationships.
Building relationships with customers by serving as the technical liaison for pre-sales to post-sales;
Participating in strategic and tactical account planning;
Communicating the customer design to the teams responsible for ordering, implementation and ongoing support and continue growing relationships with other key resources in the organisation.
Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Following industry technology trends through self-study and formal training and share that knowledge with customers and peers in the local branch and across the region.
With 3 or more years of relevant ICT technical sales experience you get all our attention
Your Citrix Sales Professional experience is a big plus
A proven track record or achieving sales targets in a comparable market will get you started in no time
Knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and competitors is a plus
Ability to conceptualise and articulate well-targeted solutions in area of technical specialty will be perfect for our customers
Your coachable and fast-learner attitude will quickly let you acquire deep knowledge of Cloudalize 's technology, offering and (target) industries and markets
