Sales & Marketing Team Lead

Job description

As a Cloudalize Sales & Marketing Team Lead you will guide and develop our Sales & Marketing team of Account Executives, Marketeers and a third-party SDR-partner on a daily basis. The role requires an affinity with B2B technology sales in a small and medium enterprise and a proven track-record in successfully leading a team.


Responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Team Lead:

  • Set realistic and ambitious targets for the team as well as individual targets in conjugation with the Management team
  • Coach, motivate, support and follow-up on the team and SDR-partner in their efforts to increase sales
  • Define and implement the sales strategy based on an account based process. Research and suggest sales & marketing incentives based on market trends and Cloudalize’s USP
  • Adapt your communication style to a wide variety of international prospects and clients
  • Build mutual trust and longterm relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow the sales & marketing process and improve where necessary
  • Accurately measure KPI’s based on data from a variety of sources
  • Present reports and persuade management of your evidence-based recommendations and improvements
  • Ensure a marketing & sales alignment on well defined goals

Requirements


  • Strong prior experience(s) in leading a B2B sales and marketing team in an SME, preferably in tech sales
  • Accomplished in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with pipeline management and forecasting
  • Experience with complex and long sales processes of over 1 million EUR and business development are a plus
  • A proven track record of excellent leadership
  • Excellent people and presentation skills
  • A coaching attitude and ability to bring a team together
  • Structured approach, time management and prioritisation skills
  • A full-professional proficiency in English, a willingness to learn Dutch
  • A willingness to travel to Cloudalize’s headquarters in Ghent, Belgium
