Your position

As a Sales Account Executive at Cloudalize, your main goal is to sell our innovative platform delivering GPU power on demand from the cloud. You will be responsible for both the preservation and the expansion of our client base and, as such, you will have a direct and considerable impact on our growth. 


Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is resilient and able to find the right balance between achieving the desired company results and focusing on our customers' needs and expectations. This role implies identifying, selecting, rapidly developing and closing qualified business opportunities as well as maintaining customer relationships at a high standard. It requires insight, adaptability and leadership. 

Responsibilities as a Sales Executive at Cloudalize

  • Connecting with prospects, identifying their needs and challenging their status quo
  • Educating prospects on Cloudalize’s offer and what differentiates Cloudalize from other IT companies
  • Demonstrating the value of Cloudalize’s platform to potential clients, developing concrete proposals, negotiating and closing deals
  • Maintaining existing profitable business relationships with clients and partners
  • Networking with decision makers in your target segment
  • Providing your sales, marketing and IT colleagues with useful insights on the latest trends and evolutions in the market
  • Engaging in a continuous learning process and remaining aware of (changes in) Cloudalize’s offering (such as new features and product launches)
  • Suggesting and introducing innovative ideas to increase sales efforts efficiency and improve customer experience and satisfaction
  • Keeping record of sales figures and data

You will report directly to the Cloudalize management team on a regular basis. They will guide, support and advice you in your decision-making processes.

Knowledge and skills

  • You have strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills as well as the necessary drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities
  • You have good knowledge of sales and negotiating in order to successfully lead the sales process - from proposal to contract sign-off
  • You have good social skills in that you are able to build beneficial business relationships with key decision makers at prospects and partners 
  • You are a quick learner and are open to get to know all about Cloudalize’s technology, products and (target) industry/markets
  • You understand the role of IT and associated challenges within small- and medium-sized companies
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • You are a true team player willing to empower and guide your colleagues
  • You are confident, self-motivated, tactful, resilient and persuasive
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and French

Experience and track record

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing or a related field; having a sales certification is a plus
  • You look back on at least 3 years of relevant B2B sales experience, preferably in a tech company
  • Experience with
    • Selling digital products (enterprise software or SaaS is a plus)
    • Selling to small- and medium-sized companies
    • Direct and channel sales
  • Proven track record in
    • Deal initiation
    • Conversion of new prospects into booked orders
    • Hitting quota’s
    • Achieving progressively higher quota’s
  • Previous experience with and knowledge of the AEC (i.e. Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry is a plus
  • Previous experience with and knowledge of the cloud infrastructure industry (trends, solutions, competitors...) is a plus
